Game Day Manager

Reports To: Ontario Premier League Program Manager
Employment Period: April – August
Hours: 10–20 hours per week (Evenings & Weekends Required)
Compensation: $600–$1000 Stipend (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

Cambridge United is seeking a motivated and highly organized Game Day Manager to support the delivery of Ontario Premier League home matches. This role is central to creating a professional, well-run environment for players, coaches, match officials, and spectators.

The Game Day Manager serves as the primary on-site operational lead on matchdays and works closely with club staff, league representatives, visiting teams, and medical personnel to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-game venue and field setup (goals, signage, tents, equipment)
• Serve as primary point of contact for officials and visiting teams
• Oversee game day operations including ticketing and scoreboard (if applicable)
• Operate and manage VEO match recording
• Support league compliance procedures and operational checklists
• Ensure proper post-game breakdown and venue close-up
• Submit match footage within league deadlines

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who:

• Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills
• Communicates professionally with diverse stakeholders
• Works independently while following established procedures
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced sport environment
• Has experience in event operations or sport administration (preferred)

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and complete a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
